CTC Advance™ Microwave Catheter
More Cooling. Greater Flexibly. Same Durable Results.
50% more cooling*The CTC Advance Microwave Catheter has additional surface cooling proximal to the catheter’s treatment zone. The advanced cooling is designed to further protect the tissue at the periphery of the treatment area and to enhance comfort for the patient.3
72% more flexible**The CTC Advance Microwave Catheter is designed for easier insertion with increased flexibility in the treatment area. This new design also features a slightly longer working length to better accommodate anatomical variations.
Same DurabilityWith over 225,000 patients treated and 120 published articles, Cooled ThermoTherapy has proved to be a long-lasting solution for BPH.3-5 |

Cooled ThermoCath
The Cooled ThermoCath (CTC) family of microwave catheters provides durable1 treatments for patients with medium to large prostatic urethral lengths (≥3.0), medium to large glands2 and obstructive BPH. With CTC, you can treat patients with glands of up to 100 cc.
Enhanced cooling coupled with higher energy output allows the generation of greater intraprostatic tissue temperatures in a shorter amount of time, while maintaining patient comfort. Treatment time with CTC microwave catheters is just 28.5 minutes.
